Chloe Connor - An ELC Assistant Coaches perspective
As an acting consultant for the NIU Experiential Learning Center, you truly get the most complete and in-depth business learning experience possible for a young professional. The possibilities and opportunities are endless with the guidance and resources available to students from the ELC program. Some students are extended incredible job offers as well as being given the privilege to network with such established job professionals from an array of companies and industries. As an ELC consultant, you also have the chance to work closely with your favorite professors from all majors and to learn more from them as a mentor. I would not trade my time or invaluable experiences in the ELC for anything because they have both been so instrumental to my personal development and growth as a business professional. I have acted as a consultant on a project for Frantz Manufacturing and am currently leading the Jewel-Osco team as an Assistant Coach and I enjoy it so much that I want to return to the ELC for a third semester. It amazes students every semester how much they take away from their experience and how much they learn. You truly gain much more from your experience than what you put in. I would highly recommend this program to any student that wants to maximize their potential and experience at NIU.
